slow weight loss

1) LAP RNY April 7th, 2003 2) 35 years old/5ft. 11 in. 3) 326# pre-op 4) 246# 7-22-03 (80lbs gone forever) 5) Treadmill (1 mile) daily/exercise video's 6) Goal weight ~ 170 lbs. (At 5'11", 170 is good weight for me.)

Hi everyone. Here are my stats- 1) LAP RNY on 4/3/03. 2) I am 34 yrs old and am 5'6". 3) I weighed 251# on surgery day. 4) Current weight of 189-190=loss around 60#. 5) I try to exercise. I do really well for a week or so going around 4 times a week=cardio all 4 days and weights on 2 of the days- then it seems like I get busy and skip a week. I just can't seem to continue more than a week or so at a time. 6) My personal goal is 150#= doctor goal is 144#. I think it is fun to read about everyone else progress- It also helps me-gives me motivation. Good Job- everyone-keep up the great work!!!!

One week I only lost about 2 lbs and at over 300 I was loosing much more rapidly, I realized I had been drinking alot of apple juice, tomato juice and, juicy juice. This was adding about 600 calories a day to my intake because water was making me gag I was drinking aproximately 48 oz of juice. I stoped and normal weight loss resumed. Leann

Ok everyone here are my stats, what a great idea!!!!! I am 5'5" tall, starting weight, 240 , had micropouch (open) on 4/24/03 Current weight 190. I am not exersizing ( BAD GIRL) but am eating a low carb diet. No breads ,pastas or potatoes. Lots of meat, veggies,fruit,( no bananas or citrus ) cheese and egges. I feel great........Debbie

Great idea!! 1) Surgery type and date: open RNY, 4-30, 2) 45 years old, 5' .5" 3) Beginning weight: 293, 4) Current 238, 5) I walk 3-4 times for 20 minutes then weights for the flabby arms for another 20 -30 minutes, 6) Dr,'s goal 150-Mine is more like 125 or what ever the weight is for me to fit into my mother's skinny clothes happens to be. (She has always been very thin) Thanks

hey gang...here goes...1. lap RNY on 4/18/03 2. 35 y.o. female 5ft 6in. 3. beginning weight: 257lbs 4. current weight: 197lbs. 5. exercise plan: what i plan and what actually gets done are two COMPLETELY different things! i try and walk 3 miles at least once a week, i do Tae-bo and Pilates maybe once a week, i also use free weights and a resistance band once a week. i HATE EXERCISE with a passion but i will have to pray about that! 6. personal wt. goal: i would like to just see myself at 145, my surgeon says i should be about 130-140 so we'll see.

Hello everyone, 1) Lap RNY on April 3 2) 31 years old height 5'5 3) beginning weight 334 pounds 4) Current weight 264 pounds 5) Exercise plan; treadmill twenty minutes a day. 6) Personal goal unknown. my surgeon wants me down to 150. I tend to beleive that 175 will be good for me, but we will see.
