Hello, I had my surgery April Fool's Day 2003. It was the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family. As of June 4th, I have lost 36 pounds and feeling so much better. Yesterday I got out in the yard and helped with the yard work for the first time in many years. I have had one adjustment since my surgery and I will have another adjustment June 2nd. I find that I can eat almost anything. I have to be careful with had foods. They want to get lodged and that doesn't feel good. The softer the better is my motto for my eating plan. I don't do soups except very rarely, because I feel like I can ingest a bunch of that and never feel full. I have had a problem twice now where after I eat I have foam build up in my stomach and I have to spit it out, it does not make me throw up, but it is very uncomfortable and I have to get rid of it. Once was when I ate a very greasy onion ring and once when I tried to eat bacon. I have put those on my list of no-nos. I think the grease was too much. It really didn't taste very good either, since my surgery I find myself not wanting greasy foods. I have arthritis in my knees so I am doing water aerobics in the pool in a nearby town. It's all women and we have a great time. I have a pilates tape that I have watched once. I have not attempted to get on the floor to do them. I still have that fear of not being able to get off the floor. I was able to get out of the jacuzzi tub in my home the other day without help from my husband. That is progress. I hope this finds everyone in good health. Afterall, that's why we all have done this, right? Thanks for listening, DEB

Deb, I hope I may call you that. I am so glad that the surgery has been making your life & I hope of those around you more fulfilling. I have had the same problem when I eat something greasy, I get nausea & I throw up this white phoam. It is not very good. I wonder what causes it? I hope that your life keeps improving as mine is doing also & that you may reach your ultimate goal, God Bless. Grisell

I have had the same uncomfortable full feeling occasionally and have to get sick. I also have the white foam thing going on and I think that it is saliva that we all swallow. When we are too full and nothing is moving down it all piles up on top of our food. If I eat really heavy foods like pasta or beef. Good luck!
