Topic: 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
I haven't really posted on this board before but I just wanted to wish everyone a happy anniversary and to say way to go. It has been two years today since my surgery and I feel great. I am a slow loser but still a loser. I started at 259lbs and am at 175lbs now. I went from a size 24 to a size 14. I now have energy I thought I would never have again and have learned to like myself all over. I hope everyone else is doing well. Keep up the great work on losing and the pounds off.

What a joy this surgery has been to me and my hubby. We share a birthday on April 2, 1974. My surgery anniversary was April 12th.
Wow, it has really been wonderful.
Thank you all so much for the support that provide to all of the people around you. What a great place this is.

Topic: 2 year birthday today!
2 years ago today my life changed for the better.... for good! I started at 412 pounds. I am now 215 lbs and still losing (slowly but still losing). I've lost ALMOST 200 lbs, and I feel absolutely WONDERFUL! My life has changed for the better, and I now feel comfident that I will be able to live my life to its fullest and no****ch it pass me by, or not have a life because the obesity killed me.
I'll be getting married September 4, 2004 to a great guy. I'll be getting my first job in 12 years this summer (keep your fingers crossed! LOL), and my life just could not get any better!
Happy re-Birthday to ME!

Topic: Yesterday was 2 Years
Yesterday was my 2 yr anniversary. I have had many ups and downs, but no regrets. I have developed bulimia, but I am dealing with that on a very personal level, and blame my post op care for this. However, I am happy otherwise. My biggest fear, gaining the weight back. It is constantly on my mind and I even have nightmares. 221 pounds lost tho, wow. I still see myself as fat, but I'm not. I am going to start looking into plastic surgery for the sag, any suggestions?!

Topic: RE: WoW! 22 Months!!
Hi Nicole,
I eat mini meals during the day, and drink lots of water. You might try keeping a food diary to see what is going on with your diet. It's hard, but it makes you confront what you are eating. I also work out at the gym 5 days a week and do something outdoors on the weekend. At the gym I do 30 minutes of cardio (treadmill or bike) and then 30 minutes of light weightlifting, ab work, etc. I haven't lost that many pounds in the last 3 months, but I've really slimmed down in inches.
Feel free to email me and ask me any questions!
Denise
