Hi, my surgery is scheduled for 3-13 & I'm super excited & blessed to finally get approved by my Insurance company after trying for two years! SO I'm not scared just really looking forward to the journey of finally not having to be so big anymore.  I look at it as being my second birthday.  I'm looking for friends for support information & inspiration so we can help each other out. Gastric Sleeve is my procedure & it's supposed to be laparoscopic I do have scar tissue from prior abdominal surgeries so I hope there won't be any trouble.  I have had two large cysts removed from my ovaries and had to have a complete hysterectomy in 2012.  Not scared about this just wi**** was tomorrow!  Haven't started the pre-surgical diet yet so we can cheer each other on with that too.

My date is coming up too. March 24th!! This seems like the longest process but once insurance went through (finally hearing something last Friday) I was quickly scheduled. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. A little nervous about my 2 week liquid diet before surgery but I know I can do it. I hope every one does great!! Cheers to our new life we have waiting for us.

My surgery date is march 10!  Very nervous and excited at the same time.  Like someone else said I wish I can fast forward a couple weeks!!

Hi my surgery was scheduled march 17 but was moved up by a wee****il the 10th very nervous and excited at the same time!!!! See you all on the losers bench!!

March 8th for me (and my niece!) Can't wait! Wish I could fast forward to 4-5 weeks post-op.
