I would call my surgeon's office and see what they say.  I am curious as to what you are told.  My surgery is also on the 11th.  I am only 3 days into my ten day liquid diet.  I have wondered what would happen if I cheat.  Hopefully it will all be ok and nothing will come from it.

It must be normal because I feel the same way :)

There are so many preop diets used. It makes me wonder what the line of thought is behind each one & the data supporting each one. The one I'm on is basically high protein, of course, & low fat. I'm only required to do clear liquids the day before. I'm really thankful for the one small meal I have each day.

Keep plugging along. Just a few more days! It's been encouraging to see the scale change during the diet!

I'M DUE TO HAVE THE SURGERY ON MARCH 11TH, 6 DAYS INTO MY LIQUID DIET I ATE 2 SMALL PIECES OF BAKED CHICKEN, DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE TO RESTART ANOTHER 2 WEEKS.....I DID IT BECAUSE I HAD TO MEDS THAT REQUIRED FOOD AND WHEN I TOOK IT AND FELT SICK...I ATE THE CHICKEN TO HELP ME FEEL BETTER IS THIS BAD PLEASE HELP....

I am on day one of my ten day pre op liquid diet. It's ok so far. I know that there are gonna be times when I am so hungry but I just figure it's all part of the process. Learning to eat to live instead of living to eat.  I am glad to meet you and hope we can encourage each other as we travel on this journey to better health.
