March 21st anyone?

Start my2wk preop protein on Wednesday.  Can't wait! Excited and scared all in one!!

Woo Hoo!!!  Once you get past day 3 you'll be good to go!!  I'm on day 6 of my 2 week pre op liquid diet and it's sooooo much easier now.  Good Luck!

Thanks Lisa!  Does being around other people who are eating bother you much on the liquids?  I still have to cook for my family and I am so afraid of not following the preop diet because of temptations. Thanks again for the support! Oh by the way, is your surgery date the 21st also?

It is hard to be around other people eating.  I have 2 teenagers and they pretty much fend for themselves so I don't have to cook for them.   I usually don't stay in the same room while they are eating either.  I could do it but it's just easier if I don't see whatever they are eating.  I always have a "meal" at the same time they eat if I can because it's easier to resist food if you're not hungry.  My surgery is March 13.

Lucky you! My daughter is not old enough to fend for her self yet so its up to me.  My husband is out to sea so it makes my life a little easier knowing that I don't have to prepare a large meal.  Thanks for the tips!  March 13th is right around the corner...GOOD LUCK

Sorry getting back with you so late but day one was a breeze, day two a snap and I failed miserably on day three.  I have had to restart!  Its discouraging.  But I am back on the right track, it takes will of steel, guess that's why I'm in this predicament in the first place lol.  How are you doing on the diet so far?
