My surgery date is 3/15 also. I am very excited and a little scared too! I'm very busy trying to get jyself organized and ready for the 2 week 800 calorie diet that starts 3/1, understanding all the information I got at my pre op visit last Thursday. Lots to do. How about you?

Good luck! The first few days of the liquid diet will be tough, but it does get easier by the end of week one.

Kim, I know how you feel. I decided on the 3rd day of pre-op diet that anyone who says I'm taking the "easy way out" would get a protein shake shoved down their throat, bottle and all!

The first few days were rough (mine is a 2 week liquid diet) but it's getting easier now, especially since I'm down 6 pounds in a week. It WILL get better for you.

I only have 8 more days to go! I'm really looking forward to having the surgery and haven't had any serious doubts yet.

Doing ok with pre-op liquid diet so far. I look forward to not being hungry all the time.

How is everyone else doing with the preplanning so far?

Hey gang-

I am scheduled for March 8th and super excited. I am on day 2 of pre-op surgery diet and so far have not killed anyone or taken a strangers head off :) I hope we can all support each other as we head over to the "loser" bench.
