I was scheduled to have my surgery on 10 Feb but the surgeon said what I thought looked like a bug bite could have been MRSA so moments from the OR I went home with antibiotics and a new surgery date. March 1st now and I am hoping that was my one hiccup in the whole process and everything goes smoothly from here on out!!

Came home on Wednesday the 2nd after my upper gi was cleared and I could take in fluids and such on my own.

A couple more days and I am off the clear liquid diet and onto full liquids - which is great because I want a cup of hot English tea so much right now.

Everything regarding the surgery has been going well but my sciatic nerve decided to act up after the surgery more than usual making walking and climbing the 3 steps in our place difficult but I am managing.

After I am off the Lovanox shots I will talk with my pain specialist (I have degenerative disc disease and Fibro) about where to go next with this nerve pain.

Hope everything goes smoothly for you all as well!!!

Oh I am down 13 lbs already. = ) Feels good to be a loser. = )
