How fantastic! I'm also scheduled for 3/2! What a fabulous Tuesday it will be! LOL! I started my journey in June 2009, then I procrastinated like crazy and then went full steam ahead in December. A quick Insurance approval followed and now I'm scheduled. Like many of you, I have tests to do in the next three weeks. I can't wait for all of this to be over and be on to my new life.

Congrats, you got your date the day I had my surgery. Dr. Ben-Meir and his team are the best! I was so scared about going under and they went above and beyond to calm my fears and joke around with me to put me at ease. Although, when they take you back before surgery there is a nurse that is heavyset with burgundy hair, she is a real negative witch! Don't let her reflect on his team. She just works at the hospital and obviously hates life lol.
Diane, Nurse Connie, Marsh the Anesteseologist, Dr. Ben-Meir, they're all awesome. The room you stay in is really nice too. The night shift nurses are a lot more friendly and helpful than the day shift nurses. Just a little heads up.

I'm scheduled for 3/2 as well. Still tentative at this point pending all the pre-op tests. My EGD is on 2/25 and assuming no issues, I'll be all set. It will be great to have a group of us all going through this at about the same time.
