Thanks everyone, So far im not to nervous, but im sure I will become more nervous as it gets closer. I've been getting things ready also, stocking up on vitamins. I am a little concerned about how long I will be off of work, seeings how it seems to vary so much from person to person. Hopefully I will heal fast :)

After of almost 3 years of trying to be approved, I a finally am. I am scheduled for march 3/29 with Dr Philip Chin at Orange Coast Memorial in Fountain Valley, California. I am so past ready--exited, scared, nervous, elated, exhausted. You name it. I can' t wait and I wish you all well in this incredible journey to wellness!

Hey everyone, anyone have tips or suggestions on what to bring for the hospital stay? My surgery is March 2nd and I think I already know what to bring but maybe others would find this topic usefull... good luck and congrats to everyone's upcoming surgeries!

I'm scheduled for RNY same day. Are you getting nervous yet? I haven't experienced that yet, but I am considering just what I need to get done before surgery. I'm a stained glass artist and I have two projects I'm trying to get done. I'm also trying to buy what I need for my protein needs, without going overboard because I may not tolerate certain things. I'm also washing clothes, cleaning, etc., so I can come home to a clean house....blah, blah, blah. It'll be here before we know it!!!!

Hi all - my VSG is for the 9th March - I'm having it done at the American Hospital in Dubai. The surgeon said no need for a pre-op diet which is just as well as I have visitors arriving next Tuesday who will be here with us until the day of my op.
