Topic: RE: Chew, chew , chew!
I can eat all meats as well and really haven't had a problem with any food. I do try to chew really well, but I have a terrible habit of talking while I'm eating (especially when my kids are around) and sometimes I end up swallowing too fast because of that...or sometimes a piece of food slips down before it is supposed to. So while I haven't had anything "stuck", I have had pain and discomfort right between my ribs because a too-big piece went down. It, fortunately, has passed fairly quickly (sometimes with some painful sips of water) but I really have to be more careful with that.
Topic: RE: Lapband on 3/8th, I've only lost about 6lbs
I got my band on 3/17 and lost 10 lbs in 10 days and then a few in the next week and nearly nothing since then. (Half the weight on my ticker was lost preop.) Everything I see says we bandsters are not supposed to be losing weight like crazy at first and mostly just healing. The real weight loss starts once you get fills in the bands. So take it easy and treat yourself right and just believe that it'll happen cause it will.

I just got some Unjury and tried it this morning...its 1000% better than the soy protien powder I was using.

the Isopure Zero Carb is at GNC. There is 0 sugar/carbs. I've seen it in four flavors and it's 20 oz. Isopure also has a powder mix but I've not tried it. Many people I've spoken with mix it with Crystal Light.

I like unjury too, I think it mixes well. I will have to look into the Isopure do you happen to know how much sugar if any there is in that?
I think you will like the unflavored Unjury in Crystal Light, it's refereshing. I like the natural lemonade.

you're very successful in my eyes, what are you doing?

I have had the pre-mixed Muscle Milk it's handy and tastes good. I like the chocolate. How about the unflavored Unjury, have you tried that? It's good with Crystal Light.

This is what I am having issues with. I used to be such a fast eater and its the bad habit I'm trying hard to break. 4 weeks out of surgery now and I am supposed to be able to eat anything, but I can only stomach watermelon, strawberries, canned veggies (carrots and peas). I live off protein shakes right now. Everything else that I try to eat comes right back up. I need to learn to chew really well.

I make this every morning for breakfast. My health nut aunt told me to buy Muscle Milk, it was the best tasting protein powder and comes in different flavors. I'm going to buy it today, but right now I'm using a Soy Protein, no flavor (I would call it chalk though, blahhh).
3/4 cup milk
4 fresh strawberries (top cut off)
half of a banana
3-4 cubes of ice
1 teaspoon honey
sprinkle of cinnamon
3 scoops soy protein powder (28g protein)\
blend in the blender, and it would taste great if I had better tasting protein powder, and didn't have to put as much
