Hi My date is also 3/9/2010, were you told to go a liquid diet?????? My surgeon didnt mention this?

I had initially Started this journey 5 years ago when I weighed 233 lbs height 5'2" BMI was 42.8. I lost alot of weight after being banded, but the the weight crept up. I had Revision Surgery 3/31/2010 to RNY I took some time away after getting Married and having two kids but now I am On my way again!!!!

I'm so sorry that they reacted that way. I have chosen not to tell my inlaws for that same reason. My SIL and I have a mutual friend who had surgery a few months ago. She has bad mouthed her and talked behind her back so much. My MIL judges peoples worth by how thin they are. So, she hasn't respected me for the last 22 years. When I have lost the weight, I just don't know how I'm going to contain myself when she tells me how good I look. I don't even want to hear it from her. I think it will infuriate me. My husband and children are being supportive and that's all I need. I wish you all the luck in the world!

I was told to take splenda or sweetener, flaverd drink mix (no surger), and I am takeing ,my laptop. I cannot live without my PC.

I'm doing the liquid diet as well. Interesting, when I first decided to do the surgery. I always thought that I would cheat the week prior to my surgery to say good bye to all the foods that may make me dump. My Dr. told me the more weight that I loose prior to the surgery the easier the procedure would be for him to perform. Those words made me not want to cheat. I'm hanging in there eventhough I want to cheat.
