Topic: 16 days and counting...advise please

until my surgery. I am getting a bit nervous as I don't know what I will feel like when i get home and i'm a bit afraid that i am going to eat something wrong those first few weeks and get really sick...can anyone offer advise on what i worked for them those first few weeks ?

Congrats on your surgery... I am having mine done on the 18th and am too excited and just can't wait to get it over with.. Anxiety like crazy.. LOL I don't know the brand flavor ice, but I know that at walmart they have a variety of sugar free ice pops, that are like, tropical and regular. They are pretty good. It's like a yellow box. Not sure the name brand...

I had my RNY same day as you. I am doing pretty well. I am sore where my jp drain was but I am doing well at getting my protein in. My "nut" says that the first two weeks I only need to be getting in 20-40mgs. and I am getting in about 50-60 a day. I am not having any real problems. Just sore some.

My mother has known about this for months but she told me when I called her with my date: "I just wouldn't have any surgery that not's necessary." BLAH! I don't even want to talk to before my surgery on Wednesday. I don't want the negative vibes with me.~mo
