I live in New Hampshire. Too bad we are not having surgery in the same place but I would love to keep in touch. I don't have much support at all so this is great! Are you traveling alone to Mexico? I am.... Please keep me posted..

we have same procedure, on the same day (both in Mexico)and I see that your goal weight is 150, which is same as mine!
Let's keep in touch w/ each other for support.

I don't know what to tell you about my feelings. I am SOOOOO looking forward. I would like to do that ASAP so I can start loosing weight right now.
I am not afraid of pain or complications (as long as it's fixable). I am afraid of death.....I know, crazy crazy, but when you have two little ones to think about I guess it's normal.
But aside of that "crazy" fear, I am very happy and can't wait to do it!

Mine is on the 24th and I am SOOOOO excited and nervous. I go in to morrow for my pre-ops...Reality is getting close...

I’m also having my surgery on the 26th but I am having the bypass in Cali
How are you both doing, emotionally wise? Right now I am really excited but other times I get really scared and nervous. Do you both have a support group? Who have you told?

I am pretty much the same as CHYNALYZ. I feel pretty good during the day then at night my tummy is pretty tender. So that's when I take my pain meds. I have been walking like crazy because I feel like I still have gas issues from time to time. I walk around my neighborhood. I also took my kids to the beach today and walked the beach while they played. So I am feeling good enough to get out there and walk around. As far as my liquids go. I know that I need to work on them more. I have been on a liquid diet for the past 3 weeks so I guess I am used to it. I just have to remember to always sip!! There has been a few times that I took a gulp and I could tell that I had done something wrong! lol

I had the surgery on 3/16/10. I am still in pain it hurt. I had the VBG all you can eat is liquid for three weeks. I was weighting 296 and now I am down to 277. It had been five days since the surgery.
