I am so jealous! Lol. I had my surgery on the 11th and so far all is well. I have gas pains in my stomach and chest occasionally but they are relieved with gasX. But all i get to have are clear liquids and sf jello. The jello can't have red food color either. I guess it's good that i like lime. =D I can tolerate all of it but the options are limited so i am already burnt out. All in all though, it's definitely worth it!

You are kidding me.  You are going to Mexico two days before your surgery.  I am spending as much time with family as I can.  Still nervous but getting excited also.  Can't wait for the new me!

It indeed will be the start of my new life in which food is no longer a daily struggle, no worries about how my MO status will impact my career, & less concerns about being accepted, in general.  Of course, there's no worries about things like will that chair hold me, eyeing the booth width at a restaurant, fitting on a plane seat, being able to ride roller coasters again, not feeling strangled by my car seat belt, being able to go back to Taekwondo to get my SECOND degree black belt, being able to jog again, my feet will be able to heal , no more pain in hips & knees.

In short, winning my life back   Can't freakin wait!
