Howdy y'all! I had open RNY on wed. the 11th and was all for delicious no sugar added applesauce and tasty tasty protien shakes, but my surgeon has me on full clear liquids until my follow up appointment next monday! Anybody else on clear liquids??

So, you get to eat?  What else are you allowed to have?  I start the liquid diet tomorrow.  My surgeon only allows the optifast and clear, sugarfree liquids ( SF Jello, SF popsicles, SF Crystal Light and broth - beef, chicken and vegetable).  Good Luck - I am only one step behind you!

30th here too.  I started the liquid diet today...who knew steamed broccoli could taste so good?  I'm starving!

And 15 pounds gone off my body. Yep that is right. I broke down and weighed. I am so excited to see the scales moving down. It has been a rough ride with being in the hospital the first week, but I am bouncing back pretty well. I am still really sore on my left side, but it gets better every day. Still trying hard to get in all the liquid requirements. Hopefully that will get better too. I can get in about 40 ounces. So I still nedd 26.
