You are so right. The moving is so key. I was so mad when everyone kept telling me to move, I thought, I can't!! But it made the world of difference.

Yup, we share surgery dates!  Today was the first I could have of sf pudding, frozen yogurt or lowfat yogurt.  Tomorrow I get to try scrambled eggs...(egg or 1/2 egg) but once you are there, it will make such a difference.  Today I felt so almost normal!  I'll keep my "eye" on you on here!  Good luck and best wishes!!!

Hello all.  My date is March 25.  I am glad to have friends feeling the same way.  I wish all of you well and see you on the other side of weight loss.  By the way how do you add the ticker to your signature?

My date got pushed back because my surgeon got call up to go over seas. My mother helped me to get over the frustration by telling me it just was not my time.  I am having my surgery done at Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Today is my day as well.  I slept ok but had the strangest dreams (all centered around my surgery of course, lol), and I am pretty nervous today.  We are leaving in about 15 minutes for the hospital!!  I hope all of us St Patty's Day surgeries go well and recover quickly!!

I had surgery on the 10th and my DR has me on liquids only for weeks 1 and 2 post op.  I can incorporate pureed foods starting my third week.

My surgeon allows protein shakes made with skim milk, clear, sugar free liquids, and certain full liquids like low fat cream of chicken soup.   They said if you need to chew on something you can have raw or steamed veggies.  And IF you get too hungry  you can have 1/4 cup of nuts or 2 Tbs. PB.  I just have to keep it to 1300 Calories and 100g of Carbs...The carbs are the hard part!  I'm glad my surgeon is more lenient than yours!  Good luck!
