I'm with you. I also go on the 24th and I was shocked that I needed to do nothing special but stop eating on Monday night at midnight!
When I asked her about any cleanse or limited intake, she said if I felt like it I could do liquids on Monday, but it wouldn't really change anything. I'm planning to give myself at least liquids only as much as I can on Monday, I don't want anything left over sitting there.
Good luck!!

Emily,
I use that protein shake. Its good I just recently bought the chocolate flavored one and I don't know if you like chocolate but it wasn't for me! Its too sweet. I prefer the vanilla its more suttle and don't really taste as chalky and bitter as the chocolate. But its a very good source of protein and I can tolerate it. I do about 4 oz. of water or non fat milk (depends how I feel) 1 scoop of the protein and about 4 strawberries for a little different flavor. Hope that helps a little.

Topic: RE: Weight Loss stall already?
Its normal to stall for a few days or even a week or so. I know I did! I kept looking at the scale and wondering the exact same thing you are. "What am I doing wrong" I even posted and vented and everyone was so supportive here. You are doing good! Think about realistically 20 lbs. is very very good in just a few short weeks. I'm 7 weeks since my surgery and I've only lost about 27 lbs. So don't knock yourself for not having lost more. Every body is different and loses differently. Probably just try to eat more protein, walk more and drink a lot of fluids! It'll happen.

You need to try to up your calorie intake would be my guess. 500 calories is not very much and will put your body into stravation mode and your body will fight you to hold on to ever pound it can. plus eat more protein if you can
