Shannon, you are doing great. I wouldn't worry about not losing for a couple of days. Stay off the scale for a week and see what happens. Try drinking more too. I am running about 500 calories too. It will come off. don't beat yourself up about it. I don't think you are in a stall already.

I didn't have to do any prep diet, i am happy about that, he didn't think it was necessary. I am over weight, i am 5'3 and i weigh in at 252, as of yesterday at my preop appointment. the pic i have there was taken last summer, if i stood up you could see me better.....

My date is March 30th too and I am also soooo excited...I have no pre-op diet...I just needed to lose some weight. Good luck to you!

thoght i would pop in and say hi. i had my surgery March 3rd. After which I ended up with a blood clot that travelled to my left lung. that was scary!. anyways, hello to everyone and how are you doing for those who are post op?

Yes, definetly...Did you have to do the 2 week pre op liquid diet? I did and am and it's not very fun, but I guess it helps shrink your liver and get you ready for the diet after surgery. Good luck!! P.s. you don't look overweight in you pic!

I was faced with my first real temptation since surgery. My husband brought home chinese food today. I'm smelling fried rice and lots of good stuff! I wish I could eat it! Oh well I'll just smell it. Lol
