Alrighty..... I will be starting the purreed food section in a day or two. Say the baby food & wanted to gag (would rather have a Boost). anyway, does anyone have some Hot tips &/or recipes to share for blended/pureed foods?
I saw mention of egg salad, sounds great...any recipes?
Also how blended is blended....I don't think LIQUID egg salad would be too good.

I'm 4 and 1/2 months post op. My weight loss goes in cycles. I drop....it stops.....I drop... it stops. I will lose steadily for days and then nothing.. After a bout a week or so it starts up again. I've learned not to let it bother me. If I'm doing the right things... its going to come off. Take your measurements.. try on smaller clothes. These are ways we can see the loss if the scale isnt showing it.

Topic: PCP Vist and Wows
Yesterday I saw my PCP for the first time since surgery. The last time he saw me was 2 months prior to surgery. During the visit he asked me how much I lost and I could see the amazement in his face when he was looking at the computer. I leaned foward to look and he had my weight chart opened and the line went in a dramatic drop. He couldnt believe how much. It made me feel good to see that line drop like that. He documented a few issues I'm having with my skin breaking out and how I'm having problems with my breasts since they are not shrinking. He said this should help get the tummy tuck and the breast reduction if I need one later.
The other day when I went shopping I bought a pair of size 16 missy jeans and grabbed the 14 missy that I could wear later. Well this morning when I was putting on jeans I realised I grabbed the 14 and tried them anyway. They FIT! I've gone from a 24 to a 14!!!!! My bra has gone from a 44DDD to a 38DDD. I am now in Large tops!
I am so happy about this decision I've made. I dont regret it for an instant.

I used to have that problem pre-surgy and it went away years ago. Then after surgery it started to happen again. I think its because the food sits so high up in our stomaches it causes this. I take pepcid max twice a day and it helps.

Howdy Denise,
I had terrible acid issues right after I came home from the hospital and my surgeon prescribed prilosec in capsule form, it helped immensly! I hope it does for you too! Good luck!
