I have an appt. to see a surgeon to get my gallbladder out.  I was in the ER with a gallbladder attack Sunday evening.  Worse pain ever.  I have lapband.  I, too, am not looking forward to another surgery.

Good luck to you. I know how it is to have another surgery after RNY. I cried, why me, I just had a surgery. I had an intestional blockage just 9 days after my RNY. I wish you all the best.

Topic: RE: MARCH 30TH!!
hey girl!
the dr's went well! i hate their scale, (its a few pounds off from mine!) but all and all a good visit. incisions are looking good and i got a few pages of my new diet (yay no more puree! and i can finally eat cereal! )

i just switched to syntax nectar iced tea! it has 23 grams of protein each scoop. it cost around $30 at the vitiman shoppe. i like it because its not milk based.
im so glad i found it, its my third one ive tried since surgery!!!

how was your doctors appt?
i hope it went awesome!

Topic: RE: Feeling Sick all the time
Keep on  keeping on!!  The start of week 4 was the first real change I felt that I was really better!!  It was like I woke up and wasn't as tired anymore.  I got very emotional as well and cried lots and thought, what the hell am I doing? I got what I wanted, but it's normal so just ride it out and appreciate the fact that you are on the "other side" - finally!!  Right??  Chin up!!  We'll be watching for you!!!

I'm so glad I checked our Marchers board!!  I was beginning to think my pouchy friend wasn't working!!  I lost 26 since surgery on Mar 11 and 29 since the day of preop and have been stalled the last week.  I'm still struggling with proteins tho.....can't do the shakes of any sort!  Now I am trying the bullets....good luck and let's keep the March board active so we can help each other!!!

Crushing is the only way you are suppose to take meds and vitamins this early out.  Unless they are chewable.  Swallowing them whole can block your pouch.  That would explain why they are making you sick.

That's a really good idea.  I'm going to double check to make sure I can crush them up, but I don't see it as a problem.  Thank you!
