Hi There,
I had my surgery on March 9th. Great to see so many supportive people. I am looking for more post surgery support. The support group I go to mostly just has pre-ops and well....we are facing different issues.

I use Nectar Caribbean Cooler flavor and mix it with 4 ounces of Dole 100% pina colada juice and 4 ounces of water. It reminds me of my favorite ****tail, Malibu Rum and Pineapple juice.
Topic: RE: one month surgiversary!
I was one month out on the 17th as well, down just 22 pounds, but I'm doing so much better this week than I was last week, the pain is finally going away and I can actually pick things up off the ground this week!! ;) Glad you're doing well! Happy one month surgiversary!
Topic: RE: shrinking feet
I've only lost 22 pounds since surgery, but my feet have shrunk as well, I think because I'm not swelling up like I was before surgery. My shoes that I wear every day are loose on me now. Grats on your new shoe size!

Welcome! I was told to sip 1 ounce of protein liquid or water every 15 minutes. That helped with the thirst. After a week, I was just carrying around a water bottle and sipping it constantly.
Topic: RE: shrinking feet
Congrats! I have the incredible shrinking feet as well. Although, I love to wear crocs as much as possible, I am psyched to reach the point where I can buy shoes in stores as well.

Breakfast during the week: Protein Shake
Breakfast on weekends: 2 poached eggs, 1 slice whole wheat toast
Lunch: tuna or salmon salad, ground turkey, veal or pork in tomato sauce, canned fruit
Snack: protein shake
Dinner: Cod, Salmon, Fillet of sole, shrimp, ground meats, canned soft veggies
I like EAS Advantage shakes. I get them at BJ Wholesale. They are pre-mixed and taste really good.
Also on chewable multi-vitamin, calcium lonzenge, sublinqual B-12
Sometime for a snack I have 4-5 pita chips with some greek yogurt based dip or hummus.

My surgery was March 9th. I typically eat...
Breakfast - One yogurt
Lunch - 3 oz chicken or tuna with 4-6 saltines
Dinner - 3 oz chicken or fish with 1/4 cup of cooked veggies and 1/8 cup of potatoe or 1 tbl. of rice.
I have been having other things while at friends but I try to limit the off limit items. I have been taking a bit of b-day cake here and there, but not too much.
