I had my surgery on the 17th too, I have a lot of hair and so always tend to lose a lot, I do feel like I am losing more than usual now, but not enough to worry me yet.  However I've lost slower than most people, so maybe that's helping with the hair loss?

On the 17th, it was 3 months for me. While things are going well and I'm happy with my weightloss, these last 2 days my hair is falling out like crazy. I knew this could happen, but I'm still nervous about it. How's your hair holding up?

Congratulations Everyone!!  I have lost 44 lbs since my surgery March 27th.  I weighed 260 the day of my surgery and I weighed in at 216 (again - I have been here for a while...)  I seem to be losing slower than the average bear, but I just keep plugging along.  I was starting to wear 22s at the time of my surgery and now wear 16-18 pants and 14-16 tops/dresses.  I have had a few issues with dumping/foaming - all totally my fault - I either ate something that had other than natural sugars or I was eating too fast.  I have several small goals to keep me motivated along the way.  The next one for me is reaching 205 - that will be my 'halfway to goal' weight.  Wooo-hoooo!

I am at 15 weeks out and down to 331.  Which is 65lbs down since my surgery on March 5th.  95lbs down since my consult on Dec 9th of 2008.  I am down from a 48 pants to a 40 and am down from a 4xl shirt to a 2xl shirt.  I'm not exercising nearly the amount I should be.  I have been pretty good about staying away from any food that is bad for me.  I am finding it hard to get all my protein in since I'm not hungry ever.  I do feel like snacking all the time so I am always chewing sugar free gum now.  I'm hoping when I get to my 6 month mark I can be down 150lbs total, so 55lbs to go.

I am not quite 3 months yet but will be on the 25th. I've been doing really well since surgery. Sticking to the plan has been much easier than I ever expected. I get all my protein, vitamins, and water on most days.
I have gotten sick a few times but like most of you stated it wasn't any certain food just kind of random. I just got back from vacation to a theme park today and had such a great time. Not only did I fit on all the rides but was also able to walk for hours and keep up with my family and had plenty of energy.
I exercise by walking on the treadmill 40 minutes at least 5 times per week. I record my favorite soap then watch it while I walk. I also add in the Wii when I have time or when I play with my kids.
I am down from a starting weight of 314 to 246 (71 pounds gone). On surgery day I weighed 304 I was at 243 before vacation but I am attributing the gain to not getting my water in and being on my period. I also probably did not eat enough because I was eating out and was not sure of the ingredients that were being used so I ate very little. I know I got plenty of exercise as well because we did alot of walking. Hopefully it will be back down in a few days.

It's great to hear from you all. I love reading about your progress. Congratulations on your successes!

Hi to all my Marchers!! Things here have been going smooth, I have the foamies and have dumped quite a bit also. Finding the source of these remain a mystery, they can be one thing one day and another the next. But it's nothing I can't live with.
I have lost a total of 67 pounds, 50 of those have been since surgery on March 23rd. I have to increase my exercise, that would help me a lot.
I have gone from a size 24 pants to a size 16. My shirt size was a 3x and is now a XL. I catch myself as I walk past a mirror and I do a double take, it is just amazing. I love my RNY!!
Best of continued luck to all of you!! Keep in touch!

I'm about 2-1/2 months' out (surgery on March 30).  I've lost 49 pounds since surgery (65 since highest weight) and just made it to onederland.

I had issues with foamies the first 2 months (not typical with the DS surgery) and vomiting, but I am doing great now.  The only real issue I have is extreme tiredness.  We just did blood work, and I suspicion I am anemic and need to take an extra iron supplement.  I've just been taking a multivitamin with iron.  But, honestly it could be a combination of factors.  I'm not eating nearly enough protein or drinking enough water.  I"m truly going to make a concerted effort to increase both of those this month...along with starting to exercise.

I have gone from a size 22 to a size 14/16.  That is very encouraging (sort of makes it all worthwhile!).

hello gorgeous marchers!!!
i had surgery march 3rd and boy it's been a rollercoaster!
2 weeks outta surgery i passed out at school from low blood sugar, and about 2 weeks ago i was severely dehydrated and gagging a lot, couldnt eat or drink anything cause it all just made me gag...had to go to the ER for fluids and passed out when the nurse was taking my blood. BUT i've been amazing since then! i'm down 72 pounds [278-206.5] so im almost in ONEDERLAND!!! im about 5 pant sizes down and those are getting big and my shirts are all XL! i wore a pair of size 15 shorts today too! i have an overload of confidence and even notice myself being looked at more! my surgeon said i will probably have to get the extra skin removed once i'm  a year out sooo im waiting for next march to come along!! im going away to school in august and i know ill be in hopefully the 180's-low 190's then so im excited! ive found a few things i dump on but i slowly introduce them back into my life after a couple weeks. i've even drank half a diet coke and almost a full glass peach daquiri! [i just turned 21...i had to lol]  fat makes me dump a lot more than sugar...i have cravings for mostly snack foods [i eat a lot of pringles now...but always make sure to eat everything im actually supposed to eat and then treat myself =]  ]  ive even introduced chocolate back into my life and i cant tell you how happy i am lol! i know it sounds like im just eating a lot of crap but im not just excited i can still eat little amounts of chocolate and tons of pringles haha. i loooove my RNY and couldn't be happier! i'm even ready to jump back into dating...havent since i was like 18 and thats a long time for someone young! who knew a surgery could make me feel this amazing?!!!
