I don't know if it is bad eatting only 500 cals per day, per say. What I do know is that we need to get in our required protein and suppliments. Are you meeting those goals?

Wow, I can't believe I completely forgot about this forum until a few min ago. Its been forever since I've checked in on all my fello Marcher's. I had the realize band March 20th, 2009 and I am proud to say that I have lost 80lbs! This does include my loss of 34lbs pre op. I can't believe I have come so far in such a short time and what is even more strange to me is that I'm over half to my goal! Hope everyone is doing well, take care and keep working hard!

I've only recently started tracking my food on the Daily Plate ( I know, I should have been doing this). I haven't been getting above 600 calories. It's more like 500. Is this bad? Where are we supposed to be at this point? Maybe I need to call my NUT.....

Topic: Half Way There
So, I got on the scale this am - and I have lost 75 lbs!!!!!!!!!!! I am half way to my goal weight!!!!!! I had my RNY not quite 4 mos ago and I'm half way to my goal!!!! I'm really excited about my progress and soooooo glad that I had this surgery. I've gone from a tight 22/24 to a size 16. I'm feeling so much better, much more energy. And I know it's only going to get better the more I lose.
I'm just feeling really happy this morning and wanted to share with my OH family!

It depends, usually I aim for around 800 calories a day, but somedays I end up only around 600, but I would say that 800 to 900 a day right now is probably a good number to be at.

I think I'm getting in about 800-900 as well. 300 of those are from my protein drinks. Sometimes I feel like I'm eating more than I should be but if I write it all down it's never very much!

My calorie intake has been sitting right around 800 calories each day. I did have one day that I actually made it to 900 calories. I have dropped 5 lbs. since July 1st. which is a little slower that I had hoped.
