Topic: RE: What is your intake per meal?
My plan allows me 4 ounces per meal at 4 months.  I can have fruit/veg for snacks inbetween.  I don't eat much dense protein as it still makes me bloated and a little nauseated.

I try to 90-100 gms protein a day and have a couple of protein drinks a day.  I haven't tried anything with sugar other than protein bar with less than 10 grams.

I make protein ice cream all the time.  The website is:

Great recipes there.

Have you tried mixing up your exercise routine? I know I try to mix mine up, this way too I don't get bored with it, and remember that you could be gaining muscle and that weighs more, so the weight loss could be balanced out by you building muscle. Also you could be loosing the inches too. Just remember to stay positive. I know it is easier said then done, I have had my bad days also. But everyone around me is so positive and encouraging and I think that helps me a lot. My boss at my 2nd job is always on me about workouts and what I am eating, I work part-time at a bar & grill, so I am always by the fatty foods. Yes, it can get old, but in away I am glad he does it.

I'm on your same boat.  Surgery date 3/11.  Started in same sizes as you, now in size 16 or XL.  Although thats great, this is my longest stall and it's got me worried.  My first goal is to weigh 200lbs, that will be an 87lb loss, and I've been 3-4lbs away from that for about 3 weeks.  I weigh myself every Monday hoping to see the scale drop.  My next goal is the 100lb mark putting me at 187.  I sure hope the stall ends and I jump quickly to that goal.
The talk of the first 6 months being the honeymoon period and then having to work harder at it after that makes me concerned about the scale not moving.  Then reading the high loss numbers of everyone else (again........I know I shouldn't compare) makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong.  There is so much I still don't eat.  There is still more weight I want to come off!!

what I've heard from others ahead of me in the surgery is you'll feel hair growth again after about 3 months of losing it.  I've got to be nearing that point here soon.  My fine hair is really suffering!!  I still the Biotin daily, and others talk about adding Zinc as well.

I am so impressed with your success and so jealous   I have lost the same 5 pounds over the last month and have not budged more then a few pounds down and then a few pounds up .

I find it very depressing...I read of surgeries in March mine was March 25 and they are closer to 90 pounds and I am stalled at 72 to 75.

I guess I have been overeating and can tolerate anything.  It is more emotional and grazing habits I am unemployed and had some PC problems, car problems and financial upsets.

So after a support group and chatting with some for the girls I found I am going to take back control.  I reinstalled the Weight mania program, found a new place to walk close to home and rejoined a TOPS meetings for support and accountability.    I am now charting again and vow to give up the popcorn (yes with butter) and will increase my protein and not let a CARB in my mouth until this damn    DAM gets unplugged.       Tell that little dutch boy to pull his finger out of the dyke and let me get on with living the good life

I'm glad you posted this, sometimes I feel like I eat WAY too much... I normally eat about a 1/2c at each meal, but some things I can eat WAY more of then others. Like I take 2 bites of tuna and I'm full for hours. But I can eat a 6oz. container of yogurt no problem. I mentioned it to my BN and she said it had to do with the consistiency of the food, which makes sense. As far as the sugar goes, there have been a few times I have had sugar and not dumped, but I just don't crave sugar like I used too so I guess that's a good thing Maybe try eating 5-6 meals per day 1/2 cup, that might help

I am done 74lbs from my surgery date, March 31st. I have about 58lbs to go. I started out as a size 24/26 - XXL or 3X and now I am about 16/18 and a XL or 1X. My friends can't believe how more outgoing and how more positive I am. My attitude has changed and I am more confident with who I am. I have actually booked a trip to NYC with my sister to reward myself on my progress, granite I am not going until November, but it also gives me some incentive to get to my goal and keep the workouts going. Congrats on everyone with their weight loss sucess!

Congrats! I had "the sleeve" (VSG) on March 3rd... I hit the "100-pound mark" a couple of weeks back and then was ECSTATIC when I officially hit "200-something"  last week! My HW was 417 and my goal was to get in the 200's by the holidays in Nov - I would have even settled for Christmas - But here it is mid-August and only 5 1/2 months out and I weigh 297!

Keep up the good work - Isn't is just great!!!?? And there is just something about that 100 pound barrier - my friends all tell me I used to "lumber" and now they say they smile because they see me "running" down the hall!
