Topic: March 4th!!!
So my surgery is March 4th...Seems so far away yet so close! Its only 3 weeks away. I can't hardley beleive this is actually happening. I get a little nervous when I think about it but I have faith everything will go well! I'm super excited. Good luck to everyone on their upcomming journey...and looking forward to sharing it with you guys.

Me too! March 16th is my big day! I wi**** was sooner, but my doc only does surgery at my hospital once per month.

I was original scheduled for March 4th but they rescheduled me for the 9th...due to a confrence my surgeon was attending.
Its not as soon but I am still super excited.....I have all my pre op testing this Thursday the 12th that is going to make it seem more real to me.....and yes I am getting nervous.

Yes. I have to do a liquid diet for four weeks. I can have one small meal at dinner. I'm now in my second week. It blows, but I'm sure it is worth it in the end! Congratulations to you!

Congratulations! I am also having RNY on March 3rd. It's coming up quick! Do you have to do a liquid diet beforehand?

I am having surgery on the 3rd too! Do you have to do a liquid diet or low calorie diet beforehand? I'm supposed to be doing a liquid diet but my hypoglycemia has made that impossible so I'm doing a low calorie diet instead. March 3rd is coming up fast!

Hey there, just wanted to comment...my big day is also March 16th, I am so excited and anxious and ready to begin a new life. I will be in Winchester hospital in Winchester, MA for my surgery, but I will definitely be thinking about you that morning when i get to the hospital...i know how long of road it is and how much support is needed! Good luck
