Wow wi**** was me I started my diet on sunday so this is day 2 and we don't get to have any soup

or a fiber drink. We have to drink 5 shakes a day and crystal light if we want to but I just keep thinking about the bigger picture or the light at the end of the tunnel...oh yeah my date is March 10th. Good luck with your surgery!

My date is march 10th today is day 2 of my liquid only diet which is really difficult they tell me that it gets easier. The biggest problem is my dr has all of his pts drink opti fast which are not that bad but not that great either. They have a funny kind of taste and that is all I am allowed to drink for 2 wks no food at all...Oh yeah the other thing is I am allowed to drink crystal light but that really does not lift my spirits..I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end.. Good luck to everyone that has a surgery in March...

OK my surgery is March 5th... Its only 1 1/2 weeks away. I can't hardly believe this is actually happening. I get a little nervous when I think about it but, I have faith everything will go GREAT! I'm really excited about the surgery and my new way of living as a healthier person. Good luck to everyone on their upcoming journey.....and looking forward to sharing it with you guys.

Congratulations!! I was kinda worried when I saw the happy face then the tears. You will do just fine, it's what we have all been waiting for!
But I guess the full extent of the surgery hasn't hit me yet. Mine is scheduled for the 23rd and I am just numb for now. I guess I was more prepared 3 months ago than I am now...lol
I have to get my butt in gear and reread all of my books and buy the clear liquid things I need. I am a little overwhelmed, but I will get myself ready. Just as you will.
