the thing that has saved me is soni**** and sugar free koolaid. They will sell you the bags of ice for 1.00. I get a glass full of ice put koolaid over it and bon a peit a cheap snow cone. I have surgery on March 10th and I have been on liquid diet for almost a week. it will be one week tomorrow.........I have lost 8 pounds and haven't cheated once. SO proud of myself. Good luck.

That is exciting! I was called last week and my surgery was scheduled for April
20th. Then, the office called me today and scheduled it for April 16th. I figure
at this rate I may be having it next weel!! LOL

Topic: 03/11-Liquid Pre-Diet Help
I have surgery on the 11th and I am wicked nervous. I had a modified liquid diet last week. However this week I am full fledged on a liquids and the afternoon hunger is making me crazy. I have been having liquid protein shakes, yogurt, tea, soups and baby food fruit. Does anyone have some other ideas to get me through the next 8 days.

I'm SO excited!!! I can't believe it!!! My surgeon's office called to tell me he won't be available on the 11th when I was supposed to have surgery. However, he CAN do my surgery on the 6th!!!! So my surgery got moved up!!!!
I asked about the 13lbs I'm supposed to lose (I'm down 7.5 so far) and she said that since I've lost 7.5 already and have a few days that I should be fine.
