Congratulations on your date.  It felt a little surreal to me after so many months of plodding along and following all the requirements to finally get approval and a date, I'm sure it will hit you soon enough!  My date for RNY is just a few days before yours on the 17th. 

I hope she heals quickly and gets to go home soon.

Finally i have a surgery date set for March 23, 2009, i have a pre-op visit on the 18th of March.  I am pleased with the date, but feel a little numb at the moment, waiting for the bounds of excitement to hit me, i have things already to go as far as home and hospital, just need to get things all set up at work while i am gone..that should be interesting.
Has anyone else felt this wave of numbness after getting their surgery date?

Good Luck to you....my surgery is Monday!  I'm like you, more excited than nervous right now, but I'm sure that will change once I get to the hospital where I'll be more nervous than excited.
