Best wishes Rona for your husband's speedy recovery. The DS has always interested me. I didn't have a choice in my surgery and the DS is one I would have been very interested in. I hope he does well!

Thanks for the prayers. I'm afraid they are going to cancel his surgery because he has a head cold and they may not want to put him under the anesthesia. We have to travel 4 hours to get there so I'm hoping its not a wasted trip! I hope your hubby can have his soon too. That is awesome that we can go through this together.

Hi,
I am having my surgery on March 23rd too! I am excited but yet nervous at the same time.. I am not too worried about the surgery itself.. I am just hoping for a smooth recovery and that everything goes smoothly in my our household while i am in the hospital.. we have four kids ranging in ages from 4 to 16

RONA!!! I had no idea! Hubby is on his way for his Upper GI now! Praying he can have his RNY before summer. Prayers for your hubby! :-)
