Hair Loss

My hair has been falling out like crazy too!!! I've been taking biotin since 1 week post op, and it still falls out!! I just cut my hair short for the first time in about 20 years thinking that it would help, but it still falls out alot, now the strands are just shorter!!!!   when I was at the salon getting my hair cut  they told me about Nioxin, its supposed to help stop the thinning, i just started to use it, and I don't know how soon I should see results.... but hopefully soon! or I wont have any hair left to use it on! If anyone else has any suggestions, I sure could use some!!!!  

I have noticed hair loss for about 2 weeks now, not spared either!   Still havent read how long this will last!  Been thinking about  a short hair cut, not sure what to do.

my hair was down to my waist, and i was losing so much hair  i thought that a short cut would help, so i cut my hair up to my neck!!!!! sorry it didnt help, i still lose tons now the strands are just shorter! granted my hair looks fuller now, but i'm still losing it.  just think about it before you cut it off!

what I've heard from others ahead of me in the surgery is you'll feel hair growth again after about 3 months of losing it.  I've got to be nearing that point here soon.  My fine hair is really suffering!!  I still the Biotin daily, and others talk about adding Zinc as well.
