Anyone else freaking out due to lack of issues??

Okay so many people have told me...No problems are a good thing. I believe that whole heartedly, but I can't help but be scared to death that the process isn't working because I haven't been sick at all. Nothing. No vomit, no upset pouch, I can guzzle what I think is a large amount of water, and only have the chest bubble for a few mins. I have tried a variety of foods, mostly protiens though, with out any issues at all. When I let my self think about it I start going nuts thinking that I'll never get to goal if my eating isn't more restricted. But I guess i'm just being a Worry wort because though I don't know how much I've lost (Doc won't let us weigh except in his office) my clothes are getting big. and i'm able to wear the smaller sizes in my closet. But is anyone else having a lack of issues??

I  am very similar to you, I haven't had any complications, and I am down 36 pounds so far.

I asked the same question when I was 3 weeks out. 2 days later I developed a stricture. So go knock on wood and be happy for your uncomplicated weightloss! :)
Congratulations on your weight loss. I hope it continues to go well. BTW, after the stricture I've been great.

Oh I am so glad to have read these!  I am two weeks out and same thing..... no issues!  No pain after surgery either.  And I have heard of people being tired and weak;  Nope.  I keep joking that they didn't do  the surgery.  They "tricked" me.  I am scared though, that I seem to be able to handle sugar.  Also I can eat more than what they say.  At this point am I supposed to stick to 2-3 TBS even though I don't feel satisfied?

I didn't measure anything so I don't really know what qty's I have been eating. But I had the same thoughts That I was "Tricked" into thinking I had surgery, like some lab experiment to see if the "placebo" surgery has the same effect....If so I WANT MY $$ BACK! LOL The truth is we did have surgery, and it does work differently for everyone. I suppose we're the lucky ones since we're not puking ever 15 mins, however, I think we may have to be more diligent about our eating habits since we recognize that we have less issues. I have been doing STRICT NO CARBS  and working out for a full 30 mins every morning  that as seemed to help me alot. Also I started drinking 80-100 oz of water a day...everyday. I think I'm over the stall, because I feel like I have lost but I'll be glad when I can get on the scales and see for sure!!

I don't have issues either. I keep thinking I am doing something wrong. I can eat 2 ounces comfortably or 3.5 if it is liquid like soup or spaghetti sauce. I can guzzle water or tea and don't get sick. It worries me too. I have hit a stall and I am worried that I won't start losing again too. I need to stay off the scales, but they call my name.

i wish i was having lack of issues lol! i passed out 15 days outta surgery and have had the ''foamies'' quite a few times! i cant get in enough protein and i usually feel lightheaded because of it. but i love to drink liquids! [just found CANS of light minute maid lemonade that are 0sugars 5cals i drank 1 today and it kinda tricked my mind into thinking it was soda but it wasnt...its lemonade in a can!] anyway...and to top it off i have gall stones so im sometimes in pain when im eating [well uncomfy mostly] but i love my RNY and im 40lbs down in less than 2 months no matter what problems occur im happy with my decision!

I have only had constipation issues.  Otherwise I am doing fine.  I head back to work on Monday May 4th.
The only thing I noticed and kind of wondered about is I can eat a half cup on cottage cheese in a sitting (20 - 30 min).  That is 4 ounces.  Isn't that quite a bit being just over 4 weeks out?
I have not been sick yet since surgery.   I am trying to stay within my program since I don't care to get sick.

I had my surgery on March 31 and like you I have been very much problem free.  In fact I feel better than I have in a very long time.   I am walking a mile every night now and aside from maybe two times that I overate, I haven't had any problems.

So don't worry!!!!  I am sure your doing just fine!!!!
