Feeling kind of icky the last few days

still have prissy pouch.....foamy acid is what i like to call it.  Its a constant foamy sour taste going on in the pouch.   Doc put me on some new meds for reflux and they help, somewhat.  I have also changed my diet regimen.  I was using Celebration chewables for everything and i dont think that they were agreeing with me.  Have had some relief since going back to my regular vitamins and supplements.

yesterday and today i have also been feeling really tired.  have been having a real hard time getting my protein and fluids in too.  i'm not sick, just icky feeling.  I know i have to get going again on the protein (have been doing so well until these last few days)...guess i've just gotten myself into a slump.  I see my surgeon on Monday for my 1 month follow up...we'll see what he says then.

thanks for listening

p.s.  anyone need celebration vitamins/supplements...let me know , i have a 3 month supply i wont be using

I havent had any surgry yet but im am thinking on it....I had a cousin who did the RNY and she had to get a reversal she got down to 87 LBS then they placed feeding tube. but then her sister had one of the surgrys not the RNY some other one and she had issues with her protein. lost a lot of hair (because the protein issue) she was also very low energy too due to the protein but once she got back to bussiness she did a great job. she looks great. she is now 1yr post op and is pushing 198 lbs

im so scard...im 26 and im 440-460 LBS this is the biggest ive been. I dont want to miss to much work I love my job. looking for answers do u mind if i ask.

What kind of questions do you have? I had RNY on 3/2/09. I have done really well so far. I am down 44 pounds and feel really good. B12 injections once a month or a sublingual tablet everyday will help with the energy level. Also, taking a good multivitamin will help. I have had trouble finding a protien I can keep down as well, but I finally DID find one. It is called Proti Diet liquid concentrate. I am doing well with it.
I am still on soft foods and will be for another couple of months. I am willing to answer any questions I can.
Having WLS is a big decision. I researched it for 3 years before I did it.

i would like to really know what you felt like after the rny? and what your journey was like. I am afraid of having some other kind of surgery afterwards to fix something else. I am 49 years old and will soon be 50 my bmi is 43.

I also was thinking about having the lapband, but I don't know what the long term effects after about 10 or 15 years this will be like.
