4 more sleeps for me till March 16th.....

My date is almost here! I'm feeling kinda wierd. Like it's not really going to happen or there will be a problem. Or I'll hate not being able to enjoy food ever again. Just Stinkin' Thinkin'. I'm anxious, nervous, thrilled, excited, scared...you name it. Any more March 16th-ers out there? If so, please contact me!

I don't share you date, but wanted to let you know that what you are feeling is completely normal. I have my RNY on Mar 2. YOu will enjoy food again I promise. I just enjoyed egg salad!!! It was so good to get to eat soft food.

I have just joined also and my date is the 16th of March.  I am having those same feelings but I am going to rely on God to get me through this.  I am stinking tired of the liquid diet but I have lost 14 pounds since 3/2/09.  My goal is 114 more.  Will keep you in my prayers also.

    Just wanted to say hello and wish you best of luck on monday!! That's my date as well.  I was shooting for VSG, but Capital Blue denied that, and approved RnY...Soooo RnY it is!!

You are kidding me.  You are going to Mexico two days before your surgery.  I am spending as much time with family as I can.  Still nervous but getting excited also.  Can't wait for the new me!

I'm not the 16th, but the 17th, and my emotions are a range as well.  I think it's totally normal.  Hang in there, we'll get through this and hopefully enjoy the ride!!  I hope you have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery.
