Yipeee! My Surgery Date is March 23rd!!!

Well I got the call today. My surgery date is March 23rd. I am so very excited! I can't contain my excitement! Whoooo hooooo! Any other March 23rd people? 

Congratz on your surgery date! Hope it goes well. My surgery is scheduled for March 20th so just a couple days before you. Good luck and this will be a March to remember!

Thank you!  I am so worried that I didn't loose enough weight (my doctor just said don't gain), or my liver has not shrunk enough. I have the 'what if' 'what if' conversations with myself.  I am excited and worried all rolled up in one.

I am having my surgery on March 23rd too!  I am excited but yet nervous at the same time.. I am not too worried about the surgery itself.. I am just hoping for a smooth recovery and that everything goes smoothly in my our household while i am in the hospital.. we have four kids ranging in ages from 4 to 16

I think I am a little worried about the surgery itself. My biggest thoughts are on the fact I am a single Mom, am I making the right choice with selective surgery. But I have to remind myself that life isn't great now, I can't do the things my son deserves to have a Mom do with him and for him, so I must do this for both of us!  I don't envy the thought of worrying about 4 children like you do, but how wonderful to have the support of your significant to be there with you.  Congrats and good luck to you!

Hi, my surgery is March 23rd also. The time is just dragging by, although tonight a group of friends are taking me and my hubby out for a last big hurrah!! So that will take care of tomorrow too, we will lay around and watch tv all day...lol
I am so excited, I have everything bought that I need for both the pre-op and the post-op. Now it's just the waiting game.
I wish all of you an uneventful surgery and the speediest of recoveries!!

My RNY surgery date in Spokane, WA is March 23rd too.  I can't wait for the day to finally be here!!  The two week liquid diet has not been too fun, but I can do it only a couple more days left!!!  Make room for all of us 3-23-09ers on the losers bench!!!  Good luck to all --  keep in touch about the recovery process.
