How did everyone's surgery go on the 2nd?

I saw Emily is having issues, and I pray that she pulls through with flying colors.

As for me, mine went very well, with the oinor hiccup of my blood sugar being elevated in recovery.  That forced them to keep me in recovery for longer than expected.  I was there for 2 and a half hours.

I had surgery on the second.  I'm still really sore...hoping that it will pass soon.  Other then that it was uneventful.

Hi there! My surgery went well. It was uneventful and I am doing well. I don't have any nausea and just a little discomfort at this point.

Speedy recovery to all!

Hi all! I'm just online today as I'm sore and in some pain. My surgery was Monday and it went well. I was released Wednesday and I'm trying REALLY hard to get back to normal. I have a lot of bloating and gas, for me, that's the worst. I am not nauseous, (thank God), and I have been able to drink my water and my protein shakes and I had some cream of wheat this morning. Albeit literally 2 bites. Is anyone else feeling a little emotional? I've been crying a lot which is very unusual for me. Hope everyone is recovering well and I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you who have surgery coming up. We really need to support one another!

Hi Bob and everyone else good to see that no one is having too bad of a time, I hade the Realize band on March 2nd and still a little sore much better after getting all the surgical gas outta me, I went to the dr. Monday and had my staples taken out, and they put the steri strips over the two long incisions and I  noticed after I got home some itching and discomfort, well it had gotten worse and when I took a shower one of them came partially off when I went to take it off  it had blistered and pulled off the skin I just thought it was some strong adhesive, then later this evening it was burning so bad I couldn't stand it and I looked and my stomach was so red I took off the strips with some lotion and everyone had made horrible blisters, then it struck me, you knothead you are alergic to latex, it usually just causes a contact itch, but I wasn't thinking when they put those on me that the prolonged contact would be wores, so I think I will call my dr. tomorrow, I put my non-latex band-aid on for now like the steri strips maybe it will hold. Anywho congrats everyone and good to hear from you, keep in touch, God Bless...Jess
