Lap RNY this coming Monday, March 2nd!

I just wanted everyone to know how excited I am that Monday only 4 days away!  On Monday, I will begin my new life... I will have a second chance to be healthy and eat only what my body needs, not what my head thinks it needs.  I feel like this surgery is going to be for me what antabuse is for alcoholics.... it will remind me that over-eating is no longer an option, and that certain unhealthy foods are also no longer options for me.  I have worked long and hard for this opportunity, and studied, researched and educated myself.  I feel ready and good about this, and am not nervous at all.  I hope all the rest of you have a good experience and are not nervous about beginning this new phase of your life... You've chosen LIFE and HEALTH...   Blessings to us all!

Erica, congrats on your decision. I am on March 2nd as well. I am so peaceful about my decision. I can't wait to get healthy. I am so excited. I will be saying prayers for you and all of us 2nd of Marchers.
