My doctor does require 2 weeks of liquids. I started it 2-22-08. I have lost 10 lbs. so far. My surgery is 3-7-08.

You can do it.. My sister told me I didn't need any damn surgery I just needed to stop eating. We have spoken since and that was last november. Just do this for you and don't worry about it. Only a few people checked on me at all and even my favorite neice who is 18 just acted like I had not even had anything done and didn't even call to check on me. I swear.... some people are so caught up in themselves that they can't think past what they need and want. SOOO Just do this for you and focus on how much better off you will be.

good luck with your surgery. I just had mine monday. I am drinking unjury protein chicken soup and it is great. 21 grams per scoop. you can get the unflavored and mis it also. ALSO, take gas x stips with you to the hospital. I have gone through 3 boxes.

I am having the BPD/DS on 3/18/08. I am very excited. Anyone else having a BPD/DS this month or from ohio? Would love to find people near me to support and to help support me.

If they are like the program I'm in, then if you dont' loose the 8lbs then it's more about what they WON'T do to you. If the morning of surgery you weigh in at ANYTHING less than what they required of you, then it's postponed until you get there again.
