Right AFTER I was approved I got this horrible flu that was going around, and I was glad... glad I would get it overwith before surgery. Of course at the time I had no idea that I would still feel sick TWO WEEKS later!!

the fat free creme soups did wonders for me. you just have to put some of them in the blender for a few seconds to get rid of the chunks. I wasn't so hungry after I started having two of those per day. you just have to make sure that you get the required protein every day. V8 does work wonders too. especially at night before bed. I am not too hungry to get to sleep then. I am on day 10 of my liquid diet and have to do clear liquids as of wednesday then it is surgery on friday. good luck to you and let me know how it goes

I am scheduled for My surgery on Friday 3/7/08. This is going to be the beginning of my New life. I am getting a little nervous I have to start the clear liquid diet on Wed and I have to do the bowel prep on Thurs. not looking forward to either

I'll be having my surgery at the end of the month and am worried about getting in my protein. I am lactose intolerant. Any suggestions?

I'm on day 11 of liquids. Can you have V8? The hot and spicey is great.
Topic: Sick...
I have noticed that I get sick when faced with something big in my life. I am thinking it could be stress or the huge mix of emotions some how kill my immune system. Right now running a fever and severe soar throat, so plan on running to the DR. tomorrow for some antibiotics or anything to make this go away before the big day! Anyone faced with the same problem? If so, what did the doctor say? Anything over the counter? I will try anything to make this go away!
