hi! amy i'm really excited for you. i just got some news that i'm going to have to have one of my test redone, so my surgery has been delayed for about a week or so. anyway i hope and pray ur surgery goes well. i will check ur blogs to see how ur doing

I am continuing to have problems. I now have to take 3 of my medications IV twice a day because I don't absorb things by mouth. This is serious because I have epilepsy, and I need seizure control. I live on phenergan IV for my constant nausea and/or vomiting. I had a ultrasound of my liver this week. No news on that yet. They said it could be a mass on my liver, or possibly problems in my right kidney. I know I don't have a "pouch" now, but I consider myself one of you. I truly could use your prayers, emails, and even calls. My life basically is going from the couch to my bed. I go out maybe once a week for a couple of hours with my husband. I honestly would like to be put in a nursing home now. I just don't have any energy to do minor things around my home. And, my mother who has helped me in the past, is having knee surgery soon, so there goes her help. And it doesn't help that my husband works 12-16 hours per day. Thank you for listening to me. Sorry for the rambling. I just know that God has me here on this earth not just for suffering, but to tell my story. I am scheduled for March 12th as well. I go today to Tampa general to set everything up. I am getting nervous and excited all at once. I am sure you can relate.

just finished my 3rd day of the liquid diet and I gotta admit I don't think it's completely horrible, I think it's because you know it's for a set amount of time and I'm so excited about my surgery. I started mine 2 days early...my surgery is two weeks from today. you're gonna do fine. good luck.
