Good luck! I only have to stay one night in a hotel after my surgery, but I am only two hours away and my husband will drive me home. So I will be home Tuesday or Wednesday (since I might have to wait till Tuesday)

Topic: Nine days till WLS, tonsil infection coming on
My surgery date is March 25th. I feel a bad itch in my throat and my tonsils are swollen. I also have a sinus infection but I usually have a sinus infection. My doctor knows I have crummy sinuses. But the tonsil infection will affect the throat tube and might cancel my surgery!!!
I see my primary care doc on Monday to get on antibiotics. Other than that, any advice????
At this point I will take any suggestions I can get!!!

I'm a food addict as well and I plan to return to CEA/HOW. Just don't mention to the group that you had WLS but tell your sponsor.

Hi,
I doesn't feel good, and it will hurt for a minute or two afterward's. The doc usually pulls it out so fast you just feel like a burning sensation. I have to get mine out too and I'm looking forward to getting it out real soon.
