Hi Sylvia, sorry you are having a hard time! Here is an exsample of what I am eating:
B-1/4 cup egg beaters with cheese or protein shake
S-cottage cheese with melba toast and small fruit
L- 2-3 oz lean lunch meat, whole grain bread (I can't eat both slices), wendy's chili, or a weigh****ches meal or similair, depending on the size I start with protein then veggies, sometimes left over chicken and veggies from the night before
S-edmane (soy beans) or 1/4 cup almonds, or 2 tbs peanlut butter on spoon
D-2-3 oz chicken, veggie or ground turkey (I make tacos with refried beans, just can't eat but a small part of the taco shell, spaggetti whole grain, again not much of the pasta but more of the sauce. avacado
S-greek yoguart with strawberries or ff sugar free pudding, not every night depends on how much I eat at dinner.
I have started doing light yoga and riding a bike. I try to make sure I get in my water, some days are better then others. I find the more bored I am the more I want to snack, so I drink more water and have my nuts nearby. I remind my self daily I am not on a diet, I make sure I get in my protein, measure my food and watch the fat. I do not eat any sugar except in fruit. If I eat to much fat I will get diarreah and very bad cramps, so I take it easy when I go out. Can you send a sample of what you are eating? Hope your doing better today! Katrina

i too had my surgery march 12 and for the last 2 weeks have lost nothing I am so upset over this.

ok I am 3 1/2 months out and I am at a stand still I find myself eatting more and snacking, i am not exercising and don't know why I have lost 57 pounds and I am loving the feeling, but what is wrong with me why am I not doing what I am suppose to. Can someone please send me a sample meal plan so I can get an idea of what I am suppose to eat at this stage.
Is everyone exerciseing?

Plateaus, Plateaus, Plateaus! They are the bain of my existence. I didn't know about plateaus before the surgery and then after I lost 40 lbs, I completely stopped. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't doing anything wrong, it was just my bodies way of self adjusting to the weight I had lost so rapidly! I continued to eat right and exercise and low and behold I started loosing weight again. Now I've lost 51 lbs. I sure liked it when I got on the scale and I had lost a few lbs in a day though!

I started taking Flintstones Complete chewables in my second week. Everything else just came back up. These have stayed down!

WOW!!! Congratulations on your first WOW moment! I know it will be the first of many! I had a WOW moment. I was going to a job interview and I really needed to wear a suit. I couldn't afford to just go out and buy one so I went to my closet and looked at my black suit from 2001, it's a size 16. I figured what the heck, I'll try it on and IT FIT!!!! Oh my gosh! I wore it to the job interview and GOT THE JOB!!!

Hi Shannon,
It may be the grease in the sausage, since sausage isn't a lean meat. Also, I take the the Flintstones Complete Chewable vitamin and Viactin Chewables for my calcium. I'm loosing hair like there is no tomorrow, so I'm going to start taking Biotin to see if that helps.
I had surgery on 3/27 and I've lost 51 lbs! YEAH!

Great job! I'll be 3 months out on the 27th! I've lost 51 lbs and I'm loving it! I hate the Whey protein powder! YUCK! I'm trying the Boost drinks to get my protein intake up! I'm doing the Flintstones Complete chewables and Viactin Calcium chews. Only 74 lbs to go to get to my goal!
