Well my surgery was 3/19/08 I started at 269 and of this morning naked and not breathing, trying not to take on any extra weight I was 220! How cool is that. I am so happy that I had this surgery. I can report that I have not thrown up do to anything that I have eaten, thankfully! Eating is going pretty good, I have decided that I can't really have breakfast sasuage. This morning I got a breakfast sandwich, I took off half the english muffin and got in 4 bites and I was stuffed. About 5 mins. later all hell broke loose and spent 10 mins. in the bathroom then I was all better. If anyone out there can answer me this why is it that a breakfast sandwich takes 4 bites to fill me and then other meals like the other night I had 1 1/2 speedies 3 tbs. baked beans and 2 tbs. pasta and then I was full. Weird I think. I am having a little problem remembering to take the damn vietamins if anyone out there is taking a good one that is only 1 pill let me know. Other then that I am soo very happy with everything I have gone from a 26-28 to 18-20 in bottoms and 26-28 tops to xl or xxl depending on maker. So happy!!!! It is amazing how much better I feel about so many things, never realized how depressing it is being so over weight. Any who good luck to all...

That is great...I am not allowed carbs yet....that is the last thing I can add...I go back to the surgeon and nutritionist on Tuesday. I had surgery 3/20 and as of this morning I am down 62 lbs. I feel the best ever...I can do more then ever. I play tennis 3 times a week, walk and play Wii Fit every day for at least 35 minutes (I do the step aerobics and running in place). Keep up the great work. Take those vitamins...I take 8 a day...B-12, B Complex, Multi, 3 Calcium Citrates (with each meal), Iron and Vitamin C. I do not like all them but just do it. Hugs, Dori

That's great!! Where did you get a scale that weighs in ounces?? I think that sausage has more density than beans and pasta, hence the difference. I had surgery two weeks before you and have lost 58 pounds. It feels so good and yet I lust for more weight lost! Selfish, selfish, selfish, but I am loving how I feel. The flinstones are still the vitamins I take and they are my special treat every day. So that works well. Take care, Janice

Hi Shannon, It may be the grease in the sausage, since sausage isn't a lean meat. Also, I take the the Flintstones Complete Chewable vitamin and Viactin Chewables for my calcium. I'm loosing hair like there is no tomorrow, so I'm going to start taking Biotin to see if that helps. I had surgery on 3/27 and I've lost 51 lbs! YEAH! Good Luck!

Good morning all: I had my surgery on March 4th, four days before my 45th birthday, it was a gift to myself. i am down 74 pounds and been at 218 for the past week or so. The plateou's have frustrated me, but i just throw my scale in the closet for a week or so and I get over it. I too have a hard time remembering the vitamins, i have been fortunate to never have to take any medications, so now having to do so daily, is kind of hard. I need to pump up my exercise aliitle, work/home has been chaotic, so the most i've done is walk the dog around the blck every night, hence the week long stall. I began my journey in a 26/28 pants and 3X shirt, I am now in loose 18's and regular fitting 16's and Lg to XL shirts. I bought two size 14 dresses..... LOVE IT!! I struggle with eating, no desire but then remember to grab something, I keep small cans of tuna in my desk, and just pop the top 55calories and 18 gms of protein, I have been addicted to Jamba Juices, I get the berry protein workout, 19 gms of whey protein and a get a boost of soy protein that adds an addition 10gm, 29 grams in a delisous low sugar vitamin packed smoothie yum yum Anyway... sometimes I get frustrated also beause I see others with much higher weight loss, but then I remember I've lost 43.5 inches total and feel great. Talk with you all soon Debbie
