i am in the prosess of getting gastric bypass and i have medicade they say you have to have 6 month with the dieition be for you can get surgery does any one know anything about that thank you

I had the same thing with bcbs of de. Make sure that you get them to clarify , do you need 1) 6 -1 month individual visits with the doctor/nutritionist, or 2) 6 months total time with the doctor/nutritionist. And basically time with them or being under thier supervision is that you are on a supervised diet and exercise plan to basically prove that you can not lose all of the weight on your own.
