Back from a wonderful gastric emptying study.......Yuck

That stuff makes me so ill. You eat radiation in a bowl of cream of wheat. I will be sick for at least 24 hours. They are checking again to see how slow/fast I am passing foods or pills through my stomach to the bowel to the colon. Big deal. I hate this test, but my Mother thank God was with me to hold my hand. I am going to my first "shrink" appointment tomorrow. This will be my first in the whole 7 years of suffering through all of this "new life". I feel that I am at a point now, where I need someone to talk to other than my immediate family. Please keep me in your prayers as I do all of you. Glad you are going to a psychiastrist. I think that would be very helpful. You sound very angry with your current situation. But why are you posting on the March 2008 board? I think the RNY board would be more your situation since you are seven years out.
