I'm Back!

Well.. surgery went much better than expected. Recovery is well on it's way and I am feeling pretty good. No JP drain was needed, no stitches, overall a pretty good experience. Stage 2 liquids diet is going well, the only complain right now are gas pains other than that.. I wish the rest of you with up coming surgeries as wonderful experience as I have had. Welcome HOME...I got home yesterday afternoon..doing alright...I had 2 drainage tubes till yesterday morning and a catheder till Saturday morning...I start shakes today (about to 4 oz at each meal). I feel OK. Hugs, Dori

Welcome back! I got back on 3/21/08. I agree with you my surgery went much better than I expected! I have been walking a lot and that has helped the gas. I am recovering pretty well and I am pleased to hear that you guys are doing well, too! Good luck to everyone! Lisa

Oh barbie!!! I miss you guys... I am a little medicated but overall feeling really good.. nothing like what I expected. You were dead on... however since I dont feel bad I tend to over do it and find myself EXAUSTED all the time!!! But am learning to take it easy and find I have to remind myself I just had surgery! Please tell everyone I am doing well and look forward to going back soon!!! By the way I am down 17 lbs from my last Dr. visit. How I dont know but soooo happy! Will call you soon! Love you sunshine!
