The hospital just called me with my surgery time for Monday 3/17. I have to be at the hospital at 5:45am which means we'll need to leave home by 4:15am. I am excited and nervous and anxious and fearful - all those emotions in one are making me feel like I'm full of butterflies. Can't wait until this time next week, beyond the surgery and the hospital, on the road to recovery and losing pounds! Best wishes and lots of prayers to all of you "Marchers" out there.

You will do fantastic!!! Seriously, I just got home from the hospital, I had my lap band placed yesterday! My largest piece of advice- get up and get moving as soon as you can. Seriously, it's really hard to get yourself out of bed/the chair but once your up and moving it feels a million times better. I would encourage you to get up and moving as soon as you can, even just to walk to the restroom. PLUS this will help with the water weight you gain from the surgery! Best of luck to you and the rest of us "Marchers" we'll be sporting our bikkini's in NO time!!! Jenn

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement. I am spending today getting my kids things packed up for the different places they will be staying while I'm in the hospital. I don't know how it will go saying goodbye to them....mommy has attachment issues .

I know how you feel. My surgery is on monday 3/17, I have to be to the hospital by 6 am. My oldest son is away for the weekend, so when he left yesterday, I told him that I was going out of town to handle some business, and I woulod be back on wednesday. I have 2 others, but they are both under the age of 2. I will give them a kiss when i leave on monday morning. I am now becoming very nervous. My mother is coming over in a few so that I can show her where everything is for the babies. Well, best of luck to you, you will be in my prayers.
