WLS during divorce

Has anyone ever had WLS while in the middle of a divorce? I'm schedule for surgery on 3/24 and am a little concerned when I read posts about depression, etc. I'm actually at the end of the divorce process, custody, etc. and am feeling good about my future. I would love to have the opinion of anyone who had WLS near a divorce.

My best suggestion to you as a social worker is to make sure you have plenty of support around you and to have a plan for a bad day. This is not impossible. Janice

I do have a lot of family. Most of them wish I would wait a little, but I have a sister that is having WLS one week before me, so she totally gets it. Thanks so much!
