Had my surgery!!!

Hello all...I had my band put in yesterday. Other than soreness, I'm feeling okay...I'm taking my protein, and sipping broth, so I'm cool. Any advice would be helpful....I'm sooo sore!!!!

The surgery went very well. The only bad thing is the soreness, which is to be expected. I had it on Monday and i've been sipping water, juices, eating ice, and broths, and I really haven't felt hungry. It is kinda hard seeing fast food commercials on TV, but for the most part, other than soreness, I'm feeling fine. Yesterday, I even walked (slowly) through the mall. I had to go slow and take a few breaks, but it's good to walk. Expect to feel the most soreness where the port is placed. But it isn't unbearable pain....Just soreness. Good luck on your surgery, and don't worry, they give you goooooood pain meds!!! LOL
