Anyone who has gotten lapband are you happy with the results?

I am getting lapband on March 14th. Id like to know how people with this feel, weight loss results etc..

Hi, I had my lab band put in March 2, 2007 in Savannah, Ga. I love my band. I have gone from 260 #s to 140 #s. I used to wear size 26, and now I can wear size 8, 10s and some 12,. It depends what the style, material, etc. I followed my program from my bariatric office, I go to support groups, and I walked on a treadmill for 30mins a day. It has been the easilest weight I have ever lost. I have been at goal since Dec. 07. check out my photos. Barbara bailey.

I was banded on March 4th. So far it has been a good experience but my band has not been adjusted.

hi, i had my surgery done march 4 and i feel great!! ive lost 14 lbs so far and go for my first fill in 2 weeks. have you had it done yet? i was real nervous the day of it, i almost backed out, but i had to do it for me and my kids. i was sick of not being able to be there mommy and do things with them. but i feel soo much better already, keep me updated on your progress!! god bless amy
